Our
TGtbT Sharing group, membership
open to all, traditionally meets Thursday at 6pm in the
hotel's lobby bar. The 2007 theme was chili peppers
because we're
RED HOT RESALERS!
Here's Lori
Polanco new owner of Changes Resale, who bought the shop from Cheryl Corbett,
who now has Small Changes.
Carolyn
of Baja Rosi's shows us the Source of All Her Power...or at
least the power needed to light up her chili pepper necklace!
This
is Nanci and husband Jay from Easy Street. Love his chili
pepper shirt! Behind him, staring intently at his wondrous
ear, is Joy of The Merchandisers.
Carolyn's
chili pepper necklace shows up here better...next to MollyB!'s
c-alien-te (as in caliente and alien, remember, she's from
Roswell NM! ) and Glenda's tasteful sequin pepper
The
infamous RIck of ARound Again (now you know why he signs his
NAme that way!) providing a temporary (very temporary, we
hasten to add for the sake of his marital harmony) perch for
Nancy Kneisel of Second Glance.

This
is the audience I faced Friday morning. Don't they look DYING
to hear from me? Yeh, right. This was just before the Bus
Tour, so everyone's dressed casually to SHOP and learn LOTS.
A
thrift shop on the bus tour. The colorful shelving and wall
segments made their eclectic selection look so appealing?
Another
non-profit shop, furniture only, on the tour has 33,000 sq ft
of selling space. Yes. 33 thousand.
Carolyn
of Baja Rosi's, Stephanie of Prima Donna's, and Mary Jo of A Neat Boutique
at Friday's cocktail party & auction
Nicky,
Kate, and Kim. They're Wallabies Kids, I'm bigger than the both of them
put together.
The
Dancing Queens of the Friday night cocktail/ auction/ rave. LONG after
many of us were in bed...
Glenda
Of Caprice in Glenora gets down on Sunday night after doing her workshop
twice. That's Joy on the left, who helped Glenda with her
presentation.
Carolyn's
workshop had everyone abuzz about "branding" their shops. She
said she was nervous, but does she look it?
Kerstin
and Spencer Block, founders of the Buffalo Exchange chain, always
volunteer to be Hospitality workers, as seen by their white ribbons.
Dinner
with Kate, an Auction Prize won by (left to right) Bonnie of Great Things
in Store, Sarah of Cater Tot (the ringleader!), Holly of Little Peoples
Exchange, Maria of The Funky Frog, Glenda of Caprice, and the Resale Guru,
me, herself.
In
the bar again: Chris of one more time (NARTS President), her shop manager
Kathy, Kate, Gail of NARTS, and Sarah, Chris' furniture store manager.
The
Too Good to be Threw Products for the Professional Resaler "shop"
at SourceMart on Sunday afternoon.
Joy,
Glenda, Mandy, Sybil, and Carolyn getting ready for a Tex-Mex
dinner.
Here's
Mandy from Florida. Gorgeous smile!
It's
tradition, but you couldn't prove it by me: the Monday morning 7AM walk!
Sunday
night's gala dinner and dancing. Back row: Marietta of Children's Closet,
Kerstin & Spencer Block of Buffalo Exchange, Andee from Sugardaddy's,
Gail. Front row:
Heather of Revente (Deb's right arm), MollyB! of Once Again, help and I
ought to know!

Joe
and Christine Haines of Just for You, Too in Ohio flank Kate for a photo.
Joe
and Kenny love Kate! This, of course, is my personal favorite photo from
Conference.
Here's
Joe with wife Christine, on the Riverwalk. Notice that he's BEHAVING
himself in broad daylight.
Maria
from the Funky Frog, Nicky from Wallabies Kids, Sarah from Cater Tot,
Bonnie from Great Things in Store, and Kim from Wallabies Kids.
Sarah is holding a gift from Nicky, her secret sister.
Vivian,
a prospective owner, Deb of Revente, and Molly of Once Again at breakfast
Monday.
That's
Kenny of Wandering Wardrobe (Patty's honey) getting smooched by Joe of
Just for You, Too (Christina's honey.) I bet Kenny's wishing Kate were
there...in between!
A
last-minute hug between Mary Jo of A Neat Boutique and Kate of TGtbT,
before Monday's farewells
