Subject : Consign pro users...what do you hate?? Author: Colleen Email: hipandgroovy@hotmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I've got the newest version of CP and there are some flaws that need to be fixed to make it work better but Brian won't do anything unless there are more people who are concerned. |

Subject : how about "wish list" instead of "hate"? Author: vholden Email: selectiveseconds@yahoo.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I've used ConsignPro for many years and am very happy, but would like to see a couple new features: |

Subject : Yes that is better wording...sorry Brian...wishlist Author: Colleen Email: hipandgroovy@hotmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: Vholder...question: what do you mean by q.2?? where are you finding the reports that show what a customer is spending...i'm assuming under the customer reports...but what makes you say it is the full retail and not the sale price? I'm not at work right now, but I assumed it showed what they paid. |
|
Subject : reports Author: vholden Email: selectiveseconds@yahoo.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: to find out which customers are spending the most in your store, you go to "reports", then "other reports", then "customer reporting"... after you put in the parameters (i.e, over $1000 after 6/1/09) it will print a report of those people. However, my understanding is that the report is not what the customer ACTUALLY spent, but its based on the full retail price of everything they purchased. Brian, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I discussed this with Brian this past year. I suggested that it would be nice to see the actual money spent by customers. |

Subject : Interesting! Author: Colleen Email: hipandgroovy@hotmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I didn't know that about those reports...I did a report with all purchases last year...it was way off of what the actual end of year report came up with...hhmmmm, very interesting. |

Subject : my wishlist Author: Tara @ Born Again Email: tarabren@gmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I too would love to see an option to make an acct credit only. It would be really cool if I could make a certain portion of a balance credit only. |

Message: My wish list is exactly the same as Tara's. I'd like to be able to credit consignor accounts for promotions such as the one Tara mentioned, and also for returns. We give store credit for returns, and at this point we are forced to write gift certificates. |

Message: We allow consignors who use their balance to make in-store purchases to receive in store credit equal to 20% of the amount of their balance they use. CP does have a "Come Back Buck" feature but it calculates and prints the coupon based on the total sale and not just the portion of customer's balance used. So if a person spends say $200 at my shop on a sale but only had $20 in their account, they would be entitled to a $4 in store credit to be used next time and not $40 which is what would print on their receipt. Currently, we manually do adjustments to their account and then have to make sure this is not Cashed out or that they are not compounding credit on credit (which is sometimes the case). Seems to me it would be nice if you had the option for the Come Back Buck to calculate on either the "total" field or the "credit used" field since both are shown on the receipt. I just think by putting the responsibility of keeping up with and using the credit on the next visit back on the consignor and not the store, it would be a lot less headache for everyone. Also, if it prints on the receipt then the customer can't say you didn't remember to give it to them, etc. Anyone else have this issue or think it might be helpful? then please email Brian and let him know! Thanks! |

Subject : Re: The wrong forum for this. Author: ConsignPro Email: sales@vhsoftware.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: If you'd like to see something changed in ConsignPro just send us a BRIEF email note with a max of 2 or 3 items. Note whether you think somethings broken, of if it's a feature we haven't put in yet. Broken items get fixed almost immediately - assuming we can re-create it here first. If broken, give some hints on how we can "break" it here. |

Subject : Details is where we are supposed to post these Brian Author: Colleen Email: hipandgroovy@hotmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: Brian...this is the only place I could talk to other shop owners to see if they have the same "wishes" as myself. |

Message: I use the Message Board at Resaleworld for networking between shop owners using RW products and suggestions to RW...is there not a similar feature for ConsignPro users? I check RW Board each morning along with NARTS and this site. |

Subject : consignpro features Author: Judy Email: designerthreads@hotmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I am not a consign pro user---what makes me drag my feet about switching from my current software is the inventory feature. At the time I checked out consign pro, there was no way to batch enter inventory, like in best consignment software. Just seemed clunky to me. |

Subject : ConsignPro Forum Author: maria Email: mmp0206@aol.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: So based on the above response, I assume we must send numerous e-mails to ConsignPro to have them set up a customer Message Board/Forum for us? I think it would be a great asset to the program and possibly allow us to resolve issues without having to call tech support all the time. |

Subject : ^ thats a great idea but.. Author: Jaime Email: eliterepeats@sbcglobal.net To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: if there were a forum for us to help each other out, CP would lose money since they charge a fee for tech support. But..I would pay to join a tech support forum |
|
Subject : I don't know about that Author: Tara @ Born Again Email: tarabren@gmail.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: I would still get the yearly tech support for "insurance" but I would definitely check out a forum to see if anyone already knew the answer, you know? |
|
Subject : Re: ConsignPro Forum Author: maria Email: mmp0206@aol.com To reply to this post scroll down. |
Message: Let me clarify; I did not mean for a message board to replace tech support but to add extra support for the shop owners especially on the weekends when most problems occur. I would continue with my tech support as well. |
