We allow consignors who use their balance to make in-store purchases to receive in store credit equal to 20% of the amount of their balance they use. CP does have a "Come Back Buck" feature but it calculates and prints the coupon based on the total sale and not just the portion of customer's balance used. So if a person spends say $200 at my shop on a sale but only had $20 in their account, they would be entitled to a $4 in store credit to be used next time and not $40 which is what would print on their receipt. Currently, we manually do adjustments to their account and then have to make sure this is not Cashed out or that they are not compounding credit on credit (which is sometimes the case). Seems to me it would be nice if you had the option for the Come Back Buck to calculate on either the "total" field or the "credit used" field since both are shown on the receipt. I just think by putting the responsibility of keeping up with and using the credit on the next visit back on the consignor and not the store, it would be a lot less headache for everyone. Also, if it prints on the receipt then the customer can't say you didn't remember to give it to them, etc. Anyone else have this issue or think it might be helpful? then please email Brian and let him know! Thanks!
