You know all of those busy, high-paid, well-dressed or -decored ladies in your community, who'd love to bring in their gently-used under-loved possessions into your shop if you were ONLY open when they could get in?

Wouldn't today's mainly "office holiday" have been an ideal time to garner these great suppliers? Fifi's thought of it! Her Twittering this morning addresses that issue directly, although of course just to her followers who've probably already figured the problem out:

No time off to bring in items for consignment? Accepting fall items today (Labor Day) from 10-5pm.What are you waiting on?

Make a note of this for future "office" holidays, and plan ahead with ads, phone messages, press releases, and media designed to reach the supplier you don't have yet. THEY are the ones you need to reach, and what better way to spend a holiday that's really "just" a day off than finding great new sources of incoming goods!

If you don't follow Twitter, maybe you should. Heck, you can just check in once a week and scan for ideas.

4- If you just want to "listen in" there's nothing wrong with that.
